Donors Claim Naming Opportunities at Campus

Supporters of the SOMO Training for Life Campus are claiming naming opportunities quickly as the fundraising campaign passes its first milestone to build the main facility on the Campus to be built in Jefferson City.

Families, individuals and corporations are choosing from 47 different naming opportunities in eight categories. Several high-profile sponsorships remain -- including the Athlete Entry Plaza, the Young Athlete Center, and the Outdoor Multi-Sport Training Area.

Three most popular naming areas

The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) - honor an officer, department, athlete or team in the Donor Plaza

The Tribute Trail - honor an athlete, team or loved one with a trail marker along a beautiful walking and training trail that wraps around the Campus

The Athlete Recognition Wall - honor anyone with a gold, silver or bronze SOMO medal on our indoor recognition wall

All of these naming areas have recognition levels that qualify for very generous tax breaks. Learn more and secure this year's tax credits now!

Businesses in all categories see the value of establishing a permanent legacy at the Campus, which will be built in a high-profile location in Jefferson City.

For example, several area banks are staking their claim to support the Campus and make this wonderful facility and campus a reality for more than 15,000 Special Olympics Missouri athletes.

In addition, the Knights of Columbus -- a longtime supporter of Special Olympics Missouri -- have recently announced a million-dollar pledge to support the Sports Education Multi-Media Center. Their sponsorship will become the hub for athlete education at the Campus.

If you are interested in a tax-deductible donation that includes naming opportunities (and significant tax credits in 2016), contact Laurie Shadoan via email or at (913) 789-0353.
